ICEcat is nominated for the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA 2009, Jared Frost of Deloitte UK mailed me yesterday. It is not the first time that one of our companies is listed in this fast-growth competition, but it is the first time for ICEcat as we did not apply for it before.
Deloitte's list has distinguished itself by its objective method: calculating the revenues growth percentage over a five years period using official annual reports. In this way, it is actually the only list that produces what it pretends: the list of companies that are growing the fastest. Of course, not every fast-growth tech company is applying for it as there is self-selection and ignorance.
