The online channel, as measured by ICEcat in the first four months of 2010, has expanded with 103% compared to the same period one year earlier. In this period in 2010, ICEcat facilitated 239 million data-sheet downloads (DDs) for products from 3642 different tech brands by 10057 different online channel partners. This means that the online channel has mostly recovered from the recession, during which the online expansion was reduced to double digits. Before the recession the online channel was expanding with around 150% annually. It is possible that we'll bounce back to this growth pace somewhere during the next twelve months.
